Actor’s ex- hospitalized
The ex-girlfriend of veteran actor Baek Yoon-shik has been hospitalized since Monday when she was taken to an emergency room, according to local media reports.She is currently checked in at an intensive care unit, but little is known about her status.
One media report claimed that the unnamed woman, a journalist 30 years Baek’s junior, overdosed on sleeping pills, while other stories have cited a basic stomachache. The hospital has declined to provide details, calling it a private matter.
The woman told the media on Saturday that she had been assaulted by Baek’s sons. She also stated that she found out Baek had been dating another woman for 20 years. This was after she had dated him for a year and their relationship had gone public.
Baek reportedly visited his ex- in the hospital on Monday.
Meanwhile, legal representatives for the two sons on Monday denied that either man had assaulted the ex-girlfriend and vowed to take legal action in retaliation for the accusation.
