Sisters replace grandpas in popular TV show

Producer Na Young-suk’s “Sisters over Flowers” will be aired on Fridays from Nov. 29.
Cable channel tvN plans to screen the show directly after current popular drama “Respond 1994,” which airs Fridays and Saturdays at 8:40 p.m, in order to retain the attention of its audience at home.
Based on the popularity previous episodes of “Grandpas over Flowers” received early this year, many industry experts speculate that the channel will continue garnering attention for its quality content.
Until “Respond 1994” ends on Dec. 27, tvN may remain a threat to other broadcasters who aim to score a high audience viewership rate on Fridays.
