MBC radio switches hosts for 1 day
Entertainer Jun Hyun-moo will be replacing singer Sung Si-kyung on Sung’s radio program, at least for one day.Both Jun and Sung have been hosting programs on MBC Radio. But MBC has a “Family Day” each year, when its various DJs switch programs and host other shows.
Begun in 2003, this year’s Family Day falls on Dec. 2.
So Jun will be hosting Sung’s nighttime radio program instead of his 7 a.m. show.
“I have heard that Sung has so many fans, and they listen to his show in droves,” said Jun, according to local media reports. “I’m confident about hosting, but I’m worried that Sung’s fans might not like my frivolous style.”
Jun has reportedly been practicing Sung’s trademark closing line, “Sleep Well,” so that Sung’s fans can enjoy some continuity with the guest host.
