Exo readies Christmas album

The release will have five songs on it and is set to be released on Dec. 9.
As is usual for the bicultural Exo, which has a Korean-language team and a Chinese-language team, the album will be released in two versions, one each language.
Many industry officials are waiting to see how the new album sells, as its first full-length release, “XOXO,” had sold 960,000 copies, including a repackage version, since it was released in June.
“The album was specially made to show how grateful we are for the love of the fans,” said the agency. “Starting with the music show ‘M Countdown’ on cable channel Mnet on Dec. 5, the group will be promoting the new album for about a month.”
