James Kim

The American Chamber of Commerce in Korea said yesterday that James Kim, the CEO and the country manager of Microsoft Korea, has been elected the new Amcham chairman for next year.

Kim, who became CEO of Microsoft Korea in February 2009, will be the first Amcham chairman with Korean descent in the American business group’s 60-year-old history. The 51-year-old Kim, who previously headed Yahoo Korea, has been serving as Amcham vice chairman since January 2012.
