Symbolic wishes
The National Folk Museum of Korea is holding an exhibition titled “Korean Symbols of Wishes” with Sookmyung Women’s University Museum. Appropriate for the season, the exhibition examines how Koreans wished for a long life, happiness and peace through various folk art, crafts and household items, as well as pieces by contemporary artists. About 87 pieces are on display. The exhibition runs until March 28.
