Auto industry’s trade surplus zooms to new record high
The Korean automotive industry, including parts developers, recorded an all-time high trade surplus of $63 billion last year, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said yesterday. The industry has had a trade surplus since 1984. Thirty years ago, the surplus was $10 million.
