Actor awaits military dutyTwenty-seven-year-old actor Yoon Si-yoon, of the KBS drama “Prime Minister & I” (2014), denied the report that he would be enlisting for military service from next month.
“It is true that Si-yoon applied for the Republic of Korea Marine Corps in January. He is still waiting for the result,” said Yoon’s agency, Taxi Entertainment.
“Since the actor is somewhat older than the other would-be naval forces, he wants to serve his term without much attention from the media.”
Yoon debuted in the MBC sitcom “High Kick Through the Roof” in 2009 and achieved the peak of his career in “King of Baking, Kim Tak-gu,” a year later.
Last year, he tried co-hosting SBS entertainment show “Barefoot Friends” with comedian Kang Ho-dong, singer Kim Hyun-joong and some others.
