Hyundai reveals 9-Series forklift at CeMat trade fair in Germany
Hyundai Heavy Industries said yesterday that it has unveiled a new diesel 9-Series forklift for the first time in Europe at CeMat, the world’s largest logistics trade fair, in Hannover, Germany.The company said that it set up a 1,000 square meter (.24 acre) booth at the event where it is displaying 21 models of forklifts to boost its marketing in Europe.
CeMat ends on Friday and about 1,100 companies are participating and 60,000 visitors are expected to come.
HHI, which is Korea’s largest shipbuilder, said that its 9-Series, which won Germany’s prestigious Red Dot Design Award, will appeal to European customers and enhance its brand image.
HHI’s construction equipment unit is aiming to make $3.8 billion in sales this year.
