Oriental Brewery marks sales of 1 million bottles of Aleston
Oriental Brewery said yesterday that it has sold more than 1 million bottles of Aleston, a new ale beer product that it released on April 1.According to the local brewer, as of Tuesday, 1,071,109 330 milliliter bottles have been sold at retail outlets including discount stores, convenience stores and supermarkets. OB said that with increasing demand, it will begin selling the beer at pubs and bars. Competition has increased in the local beer market with import beers expanding their shares as well.
