Summer comeback for Sistar

Sistar

Four-member group Sistar will return to the entertainment scene this summer a year after their second studio album “Give It to Me.”

The news about their comeback was confirmed by multiple local media sources yesterday, who said that the new album is slated to be released around July, following fans’ expectation of a summer song. Since the group debuted in 2010 with their first EP “Push Push,” Sistar has always promoted themselves around summer, with dance numbers, from “So Cool” (2011), “Loving You” (2012) to “Give It to Me” (2013).

Though Sistar did not gain considerable attention in their early years, their outstanding musical abilities helped them gain recognition recently, especially through Hyo-lyn and So-you, who have collaborated with high-profile artists.

Da-som and Bo-ra have worked on their acting careers during the past few months. Bo-ra is currently appearing in the SBS medical drama “Doctor Stranger” with actor Lee Jong-seok and Park Hae-jin.
