Galaxy Tab S pulls in top award for its Super Amoled displaySamsung Display received an “Excellent A” grade for its Super Amoled panel featured on the recently released Galaxy Tab S from DisplayMate, a U.S. evaluator of displays, the Korean company said yesterday.
The Samsung panel beat the panels on Amazon’s Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 and Apple’s iPad Mini to become the best display in the world, said Samsung Display, citing the DisplayMate.
The Galaxy Tab S, which debuted in New York, has a 2,560 by 1,600 pixel Super Amoled display.
