GM Korea No. 1 in sales in yearly KMAC quality index

GM Korea finished first among automakers in the sales category of a Korean Service Quality Index (KSQI) study conducted by Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC) for the second consecutive year.

The 2014 KSQI study assesses the level of service quality for 113 companies in 27 industries from the customer’s perspective.

The nation’s third-largest automaker received an industry-high 96 points in the Sales category and the highest scores in two of 11 metrics in the greeting and proactive attitude category.

Chevrolet dealerships in the major cities - Seoul, Incheon, Daejeon, Daegu, Gwangju and Busan - were monitored between August 2013 and May 2014, the company said.
