G.O.D reunites for concertKorean singers IU and Roy Kim were spotted visiting G.o.d’s 15th anniversary solo concert among the 14,000 fans gathered at Jamsil Sports Complex on Saturday, according to local media.
It was K-pop pioneer G.o.d’s reunion as an integrated group of five members after pursuing solo careers in acting, musical and solo albums for 12 years.
At the press conference held prior to the concert, main vocalist Kim Tae-woo said “Our peers, juniors and senior singers sent flowers for our concert and we appreciate it a lot.”
G.o.d’s latest full-length album “Chapter 8,” which was unveiled on Tuesday after nine years since “Into the Sky,” in 2007 made with only four of the members without Yoon Kye-sang, consists of 12 tracks, of which some of the tracks are spinoffs of the group’s previous songs.
Singer IU featured in one of the tracks “Sing for Me.”
