Nine Muses in trouble for its teasers
Teaser images for Nine Muses released for their upcoming mini-album “Drama” on Wednesday night are under criticism for their similarity to a photo shoot published by W Magazine.In the images that are similar to the magazine spread, each of the girl group’s eight members wear their hair short with different pastel hues and lie down on the ground while covered in chiffon fabric.
The group’s entertainment agency denied plagiarizing the magazine, instead calling it an “homage.”
“You know, these girls are often dubbed model-like groups because all the members are tall and slender,” the agency said. “This is an homage [to the photo shoot of W Magazine].”
