Winner readies special DVD
K-pop boy group Winner’s special DVD will be released on Jan. 28, according to YG Entertainment.The DVD “Winner Welcoming Collection DVD” has two discs.
On one disc, fans are given a sneak peek of the five-member boy group’s everyday lives while the other disc includes behind-the-scenes footage from their first debut performance and photo shoots of their album covers.
Also included is a 200-page photo book, a desk calendar with images of the band and a set of postcards.
The DVD will provide subtitles in English, Chinese and Taiwanese along with Korean for global fans.
Winner broke into the music scene just last year but has already amassed a big fan base across Asia.
Most recently, the boy group received the best new singer of the year award from the 2015 Golden Discs held in Beijing on Wednesday and Thursday.
Fans are able to pre-order the DVD starting Friday through major online open markets. It will be available in stores on Jan. 28.
