Nichkhun, Tiffany break up
It has been confirmed that K-pop stars Nichkhun, 26, from boy group 2PM, and Tiffany, 25, from Girls’ Generation, broke up a month ago after being together for around a year and a half.“Although we don’t know the specific reason behind the two people’s breakup, it is true that the two are no longer involved in a dating relationship,” acknowledged SM Entertainment, Tiffany’s agency, on Friday.
Nichkhun’s representative, JYP Entertainment, also admitted that the two are no longer a couple on the same day.
Nichkhun and Tiffany made waves on the Internet when they went official with their relationship last April as they were the first couple to form from the two entertainment companies, considered to be two of the top agencies in Korea.
The K-pop stars made the official announcement after four months of dating.
Nichkhun is currently working on 2PM’s new album, planned to be unveiled in June.
Tiffany is expected to make a comeback as a member of Girls’ Generation in late June at the earliest.
