Leessang finishes up ninth album

Hip-hop duo Leessang will unveil their first album in three years.
Gary and Gil Sung-joon, aka Gill, have confirmed plans to unveil their new record on July 15, which is the first since their eighth album, “Unplugged,” which came out in May 2012.
The duo reportedly has already completed all the tracks. After releasing the album, however, the group has no plans to appear on TV music programs. Instead, the two plan to stage live concerts.
The duo’s soon-to-be-released album is very meaningful to the group’s fans because Gill has stayed out of the public eye since being accused of driving drunk last April. After the incident, the singer stepped down from MBC’s flagship reality program, “Infinite Challenge.”
The duo, who are highly loved by their fans for their soul music that has a unique slow beat along with musical groove, will stage a performance on Sunday along with various celebrities including Haha & Skull, Sam Hammington and Song Eun-yi.
