Hana and SK in joint effort to invest in startup firms

Hana Financial Group and SK Group are joining hands to invest in startup companies.

The financial group on Monday said the agreement was signed at SK Group’s creative economy innovation center in Daejeon.

Under the agreement Hana Financial Group will be the first financial company in the country to simultaneously make financial investment on startups while also providing loans.

“Under the agreement we will actively cooperate so that startup companies will be able to become global companies,” said Hana Financial Group Chairman Kim Jung-tai. “We will work with SK Group to establish an ecosystem for a creative economy.”
