Namuga Multimedia plans to go public on Nov. 12

Namuga Multimedia Lab, a company that specializes in manufacturing camera modules installed in smartphones and laptops, announced plans to go public on Monday.

The company said it plans to be listed on the tech-heavy Kosdaq with a total of 2.95 million shares including 878,000 newly issued shares. The company plans to go IPO on Nov. 12.

The company was founded in October 2004 and today it is one of the leading 3-D sensing camera module manufacturers in the world.

The company in the first quarter alone saw its revenue surge 107 percent to 176.9 billion won with an operating profit of 10.3 billion won.

The company is aiming at annual revenue of 500 billion won by next year.
