BASEBALLBanwart signed by KT Wiz
in deal worth $600,000
KT Wiz on Tuesday announced they have signed a one-year contract worth $600,000 with former SK Wyverns pitcher Travis Banwart.
The 29-year-old American first landed in the Korea Baseball Organization in the middle of 2014, going 9-1 with 3.11 ERA in 11 games with the Wyverns. However, during the game against the Wiz on July 1, he was hit by a line drive and fractured his right arm.
Banwart was later replaced by Chris Seddon. Before getting replaced, the right-hander had 5-3 with 4.63 ERA in 12 games.

Defeated opponent’s team are cheats, says champ Fury
BOLTON, England -Tyson Fury has accused Wladimir Klitschko’s camp of being “cheats’’ and says he refused to accept any water after beating the Ukrainian in Saturday’s world heavyweight title fight for fear of being drugged.
Fury, who outpointed Klitschko to take the WBA, IBF and WBO belts in Duesseldorf on Saturday, also says he was given the wrong gloves for the fight, was put down for the wrong weight at the weigh-in, and almost called off the bout because there was too much foam under the canvas in the ring. AP
