KT&G reshuffle focuses on ethics

Tobacco company KT&G carried out a major organization reshuffle on Monday in order to focus on ethical management and increase its contribution to the community.
KT&G raised its ethical management office to the status of an ethical management audit team to give them larger independence. KT&G President Baek Bok-in has emphasized that transparency and ethical management are essential for sustainable growth ever since he took office in October.
KT&G said it will come up with specific plans such as creating new jobs and a relief program to support developing countries.
The company will also expand its overseas department to support its foreign branches in countries such as the United States and Russia.
