Samsung Securities’ Smart Advisor has gained over 1,800 trial users within one month of its release.

Smart Advisor is a customizable online asset management platform that produces an optimized portfolio after users input their investment period and purpose. Investors can purchase the portfolio either as presented by Smart Advisor or after making adjustments to better suit their needs.

In addition, Smart Advisor portfolios can be regularly checked using the “My Portfolio” tool and rebalanced based on market changes. They allow users to make well-balanced investments that lower asset volatility and raise profit stability.

Smart Advisor’s minimum subscription fee is 100,000 won ($80) in funds and 1,000,000 won in exchange-traded funds.

Investors can also use Smart Advisor to join Online POP UMA, the online version of Samsung Securities’ comprehensive asset management service, POP Unified Managed Account (UMA). Online POP UMA is a discretionary wrap service that puts a Samsung Securities expert in charge of asset distribution, product selection and management. The expert provides continuous service, from the initial portfolio proposal to market-based rebalancing.

Online POP UMA requires a minimum subscription fee of 20,000,000 won, with an annual commission of 0.6 to 1 percent paid quarterly.
