Small universe

Artist Seon Ghi Bahk stands within his installation work “An Aggregation ? Space 20160305” at the 313 Art Project gallery in Gangnam District, southern Seoul. The work is part of his solo show, which runs through April 8.

The work is made of not only small pieces of charcoal hanging from the ceiling but also the empty spaces between the charcoal pieces. From some perspectives, the work looks like a small universe with asteroids floating in their orbits.

The 50-year-old artist is famous for playing with the viewers’ perspective and the surrounding environment, and this work demonstrates his signature style.
