President, Korean firms traveling to MongoliaThe Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy named the 109 Korean companies Monday that will be traveling with President Park Geun-hye to Mongolia July 14 to 18.
The entourage includes 11 leading Korean conglomerates such as Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor as well as LG Electronics Hyundai Group and Hanwha. Leading web portal company Naver is also joining the trip. Additionally 62 small and midsize companies as well as 36 public institutions and business representatives are on the roster.
The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry will hold a business forum in Mongolia during President Park’s visit while the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency will hold a one-on-one business trade event where 48 Korean companies will participate.
