Shinee adds additional solo show
K-pop boy group Shinee will add an additional day for their solo concerts scheduled for next month.“SHINee CONCERT ‘SHINee WORLD V” was originally scheduled to run for two days on Sept. 3 and 4, but the act has added another show on Sept. 2.
“[Shinee] decided to stage additional performance because of fans’ explosive response [towards the group’s concerts],” said SM Entertainment, which represents the five members.
The concerts will take place at Seoul Olympic Gymnasium in southern Seoul. Tickets for the additional performance can be reserved online starting at 8 p.m. on Aug. 10. The seats for families and those in wheelchairs can be reserved on the same day starting at 10 a.m.
Shinee is also holding a special exhibition, “SHINee WORLD,” where photos, videos and costumes from past performances are displayed.
The exhibition will kick off on Aug. 21 and will run through Aug. 31 at SM Town at COEX Artium in Samseong-dong, southern Seoul.
