Still on strike
Hyundai Heavy Industries employees continued their labor strike at the company’s plant in Ulsan on Wednesday. The workers, who are scheduled to be laid off from the world’s largest shipbuilder due to corporate restructuring, have been holding walkouts daily since Aug. 16, when their summer vacations ended. On Wednesday, the workers walked out for four hours, starting at 1 p.m. HHI union workers have been on joint strike with nearby Hyundai Motor workers since Friday. [NEWSIS]
