According to their agency Duble Kick Entertainment on Thursday, the girl group is currently preparing to make their debut with a song composed by producers Duble Sidekick.
The group was created on the Mnet survival reality program “Finding Momoland.” Although they were originally scheduled to debut earlier in the year, it was delayed due to their failure to gather 3,000 audience members for their last mission on the show.
Their agency said that the group practiced even harder during their preparation. Group member Nancy was even featured in rapper MC Gree’s latest music video.
The girl group also managed to attract international attention through their crowdfunding project to fund their debut album. The project raised over 10 million won ($8,880), surpassing the crowdfunding goal of 7 million won.
The group has kept themselves busy performing at a variety of festivals and school events even before their official debut. They recently visited Busan to participate in the “Busan One Asia Festival” on Oct. 1.
