어른이라면 술을 몇 잔 하는 것이 즐거운 일일 수 있다. 하지만 과음을 하면 대가를 치러야 한다. 숙취는 하루의 분위기를 통째로 망칠 수 있다. 나는 과음을 한 다음 날에는 속이 안 좋은 경우가 많다. 메스껍고 어지럽기도 하다. 증상이 심하면 약국에 들러 약을 사서 먹어야 한다. 가벼운 경우에는 이온 음료나 차로도 충분할 수 있다. 숙취를 해소하는 방법 중 내가 가장 선호하는 것 중 하나는 한국식 해장국이다. 종류는 다양하다. 대부분 든든하고 뜨겁다. 뜨거운 국을 먹으며 땀을 흘리면 큰 도움이 된다.

For grown-ups, having a few drinks can be a laugh. But if you drink excessively, there is a price to pay. A hangover can put a downer on an entire day. On days after I drink too much, I often have an upset stomach. I feel nauseated and light-headed. If the symptoms are really bad, I have to visit a pharmacy and take medication. For lighter cases, a sports drink or some tea can be enough. One of my favorite ways to cure a hangover is Korean-style hangover relief soup. There are many different types. Most of them are hearty and piping hot. Working up a sweat with a hot dish of soup can do wonders.
