Hazzys starts Southeast Asia expansion with Vietnam

Hazzys, a Korean apparel brand, said Sunday that it opened two stores in Vietnam, becoming the first traditional Korean casual wear label to land in the growing market.

Owned by LF, formerly LG Fashion, Hazzys opened a flagship store and golf-exclusive shop at the Lotte Department Store in Hanoi on Saturday, company officials said.

The apparel company is making a global push, having entered the French market in August. Officials said they are looking to expand into Southeast Asia through Vietnam, with its population of 100 million offering a large market and growing demand for luxury fashion.

The company plans to have 15 stores in Vietnam by 2020, mostly at high-end department stores throughout the country. Yonhap
