KEB Hana partners with Naver on forex services

Naver and KEB Hana are offering an AI-powered exchange rate information service. [KEB HANA BANK]

KEB Hana Bank, the country’s specialized foreign exchange bank, partnered with internet company Naver on Tuesday to provide mobile-based AI service for an exchange rate information service. Once a user takes a picture of a banknote with Naver’s SmartLens function, it shows the issuing country as well as a real-time exchange rate of the notes. The bank and Naver agreed to offer the service within the first quarter of next year. It will add information about counterfeit notes and special coupons for preferable currency rates.
