President Moon Jae-in’s approval rating fell to 67 percent last week in a Gallup Korea poll, after hovering above 70 percent for the past 16 months, due to fumbles over cryptocurrency regulations and North Korea’s participation in the PyeongChang Winter Olympics. Opposition parties led by the Liberty Korea Party (LKP) hope his ratings will fall further.
