Lil Wayne, Mayweather concert canceled
Lil Wayne and Floyd Mayweather Jr. will not be coming to Korea.The hip-hop artist and boxer were initially scheduled to perform a show in Seoul on Saturday to promote Mayweather’s music label TMT Music Group, but organizers abruptly canceled the concert last Friday, citing problems with Mayweather obtaining a visa to perform in Korea.
A fan meeting with the boxer scheduled for this Friday at the Vibrate street apparel shop in Sinsa-dong, southern Seoul, was also canceled.
Melon Ticket, which is managing sales, is issuing refunds to people who purchased tickets and said it would try to reschedule the concert for after the Olympics.
