Lee Jung-hun promoted to become CEO of Nexon

Nexon Korea, one of the largest game publishers in Korea, officially appointed Lee Jung-hun as its new CEO, the company said on Wednesday.

Lee, former vice president of business for the company, was tapped as the new chief executive earlier this month. His post was determined on Wednesday after a board of directors and shareholders meeting on Tuesday, the company explained.

Lee joined Nexon Korea in 2003 and was in charge of a number of Nexon’s key projects, including Neople and FIFA, according to the company. Some of the Nexon games that Lee oversaw include FIFA Online 3, Heroes of Incredible Tales, AxE and Overhit. The company said his replacement as vice president of business is yet to be determined.
