The pop singer LYn, whose work includes soundtracks to some of the most popular television dramas of the past decade, signed a new contract with 325 E&C on Friday.
The entertainment agency was founded and is managed by her husband, Isu, the frontman of rock band MC The Max. The two have been married since 2014.
LYn debuted in 2000 with the album “My First Confession.” She has since released many hit singles including “We Used to Love” (2004), “Letter to You” (2004) and “True Story” (2009).
But her best-known work is her original music for hit dramas like MBC’s “Moon Embracing the Sun” (2012) and SBS’s “My Love From the Star” (2013-14).
Her most recent release was the single “Mama’s Dream” in May. She also contributed to the soundtrack of the KBS drama “Are You Human?” this year.
She is currently featured on the JTBC variety show “Hidden Singer” as a competitor. The show pits ordinary singers against the artists who wrote their songs to see who can perform them best.
LYn was previously signed to Music & New Entertainment.
