Apink to drop album after concerts

Girl group Apink will return with a new album on Jan. 7.

According to their agency Plan A Entertainment, the group will hold a concert series titled “Apink 5th Concert 2019 PINK COLLECTION : RED & WHITE” from Jan. 5 to 6 at SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium, located in Olympic Park, southern Seoul, and release their album the following day.

The album comes six months after “ONE & SIX,” which was released in July. The lead track “I’m So Sick” topped music streaming charts upon its release.

This year marks the group’s seven-year anniversary. Since the group’s debut in 2011 with the album “Seven Springs of Apink,” they had topped the charts with a slew of hits that includes “LUV” (2014), “Mr. Chu” (2014) and “Remember” (2015).
