Networks to host March 1 concerts

Ahead of the centennial anniversary of the March 1 Independence Movement, several concerts to celebrate the anniversary have been announced.

TV network SBS’ “2019 One K Concert,” which will be held on March 1 in front of the National Assembly in Yeouido, western Seoul, will feature 24 artists, including boy bands Monsta X, SF9, Astro, singers Ha Sung-woon from the disbanded group Wanna One, Baek Z-young, Cheetah and girl groups Oh My Girl, April and (G)I-DLE. The concert will be hosted by singers Lee Sang-min, Sejeong from Gu9udan and Cha Eun-woo from Astro.

This will be Ha’s first time performing solo after Wanna One disbanded on Dec. 31. (G)I-DLE, which is releasing a new album next Tuesday, will also perform its new song.

The “100 Years of Spring” concert, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and KBS, will be held at Independence Hall of Korea in Cheonan on Feb. 28.

The concert will be hosted by actor Kim You-jung and singer-turned-actor Jinyoung. Several artists, including Dynamic Duo, Zico, Chung Sung-hwa and Kim So-hyun, will perform.
