Monsta X announces world tour

Monsta X will hold its third world tour starting next month, its agency, Starship Entertainment, announced on Thursday.

According to the agency, the band will embark on a worldwide tour for its third tour, titled “2019 Monsta X World Tour ‘We Are Here,’” with two concerts held in Seoul on April 13 and 14 at the SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium, southern Seoul.

Its first overseas concert will take place on June 1 in Bangkok, followed by 17 other cities including Amsterdam, Paris, London, Berlin, Sao Paolo, New York and Chicago.

The band will put on a total of 19 performances in 18 different cities in Asia, Europe, North America and South America for the whole tour. This is the first time the band has stopped in Australia.

The performances will include hit songs from early in the band’s career, as well as songs off of its most recent release, “Take 2. We are Here,” which dropped in February.

The concert venue for each city will be revealed in the coming days.

Monsta X also announced on Thursday that it will release an English version of its song “Play It Cool,” in collaboration with U.S. D.J. Steve Aoki.

The song will be distributed on Saturday Korean time and Friday evening in the United States.
