Kim Sei-young reaches top 10 in women’s world ranking

Kim jumped six spots to reach No. 9 in the rankings, her highest position since last October. Kim picked up her first victory of the year, and eighth of her career, at the LPGA Mediheal Championship in Daly City, California, on Sunday.
Kim is one of four Korean players in the top 10. Ko Jin-young stayed at No. 1 for the sixth consecutive week, while Park Sung-hyun and Park In-bee remained at No. 3 and No. 6, respectively. Former No. 1 Ryu So-yeon fell from No. 9 to No. 12, her lowest rank since October 2016. Following Ryu, Amy Yang was ranked 14th and Ji Eun-hee was ranked 16th. Rookie Lee Jeong-eun, who finished runner-up on Sunday, moved up three spots, from 20th to 17th.
