Omori’s jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) doesn’t deviate from the black bean canon, featuring juicy sauteed onions, boiled potato, the occasional piece of minced pork and homemade noodles that are light, chewy and an overall treat. The dish is topped with a few slivers of julienned zucchini.
The jajang (black bean) sauce, while viscous at first, gets increasingly watery to the point that it doesn’t cling to the noodles.
The dish has small and large options, with both portions being quite generous. Omori is also known for its kimchi, which is aged for three years.
