[Sponsored Report] SK Broadband creates videos to benefit society
SK Broadband is making diverse social contributions through the services that the company provides.
Using their strengths as an internet protocol television (IPTV) service, SK Broadband is carrying out a number of projects as part of their corporate social responsibility.
Since 2018, SK Broadband has been hosting the Blossom Adolescent Film Festival along with the Korean National Police Agency and Yonsei University for young teenagers to create videos related to safety issues and the economy.
The festival was started in an effort to improve society and find solutions to a wide range of global issues.
The three institutions collaborating together set a new example for the social value creation model.
SK Broadband is in charge of active promotion of video creation and mentoring during the event, while the police agency recruits the creators and provides ideas and the theme for the videos.
Yonsei University takes care of the creators and educates them on how to make the videos. SK Broadband invites production, editing, shooting and lighting professionals to provide training on how to make videos.
The best pieces are selected and given prizes by these three organizations.
These specially made videos are made available on SK Broadband’s B tv service, and they are promoted on B tv’s Smart Big Ad and SK Broadband social media accounts.
Other than that, SK Broadband also produces educational videos on how to prevent school bullying through its B tv and EBS Youtube channel.
Over a total of 16 episodes, attorneys who handle school bullying educate people about cases they have worked on and how it was dealt with in court.
SK Broadband is making a huge effort to enlighten people about the seriousness of issues that must be solved in society nowadays, and the company’s social values are reflected through this work.
