Niel of Teen Top to make big-screen debut next month

Niel of Teen Top will be making his big-screen debut next month.

The K-pop star has been cast to play a leading role in director Im Seong-gwan's upcoming movie "Swag," announced Neil's agency TOP Media on Wednesday.

"Swag" is a music-themed film that revolves around a self-absorbed, young aspiring rapper named Elle, a rising K-pop star Jay, and a talented producer OG, as they discover friendship and love and mature through music.

Neil will take on the role of Elle.

Neil's K-pop star debut was in 2010 as a member of Teen Top. His small-screen debut was 2012, when he starred in KBS drama "Do You Know Taekwondo?"

"Swag" is slated to hit local theaters in December.
