Hyundai E&C’s Jangan officetels make ideal homes for the younger generations

Hyundai Engineering & Construction offers the Hillstate Jangan Central, located in central Seoul, for the younger generations [HYUNDAI ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION]
Located at Jangan-dong, Dongdaemun-gu in central Seoul, the Hillstate Jangan Central is an officetel building – a building used for both commercial and residential purposes in Korea – consisting of 26 stories with 369 units, including six basement levels. One of the basement levels, first and second floors will be used for commercial purposes, the rest will be used for residential purposes.
The building provides 4 different types of units with various options, the space varying from 38 square meters to 78 square meters. The 38 square meter units consist of a bedroom, a living room and kitchen while those measuring between 57 and 59 square meter have two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen. The 78 square meter units offer three bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a dressing room. Some of the units have a loft, maximizing the space efficiency.
There will also be community facilities such as fitness center and library, with a plaza and a rooftop garden.
Hyundai E&C expects the units to be a hit among the younger generations, those in their 20s and 30s, especially newlyweds, since they provide an ideal alternative to small-sized apartment units. Another officetel building under the Hyundai E&C’s Hillstate brand, the Hillstate Cheonggye Central, sold all of its units with an average competition rate of 12.72:1 last February.
Hillstate Jangan Central is situated at the heart of the Jangan commercial district in the center of Seoul. Residents will be able to enjoy various facilities such as the Art Malling complex, Lotte Cinema, Lotte Department Store, Sahmyook Medical Center and Homeplus Dongdaemun all within a walking distance.
The district also boasts an excellent environment for education with a number of schools located nearby and a sports park laid out along the Jungnangcheon stream.
As a leading apartment brand in Korea, Hillstate will continue to raise the bar with the Hillstate Jangan Central, Hyundai E&C said.
Furthermore, the housing-lottery is more accessible for the younger generations because the Hillstate Jangan Central is classified as an officetel building and not an apartment building, which means that it is comparatively less regulated. In addition, there is less financial burden in terms of tax payment and loans, which makes the Hillstate Jangan Central stand out as an ideal choice for those who are seeking to buy their own property.
