An employee arranges meals at a 7-Eleven store in Jung District, central Seoul, on Thursday. Convenience stores such as 7-Eleven, GS25 and Emart24 have released a series of meals that can be bought with student food vouchers. The vouchers, a replacement for school lunches that temporarily stopped during the pandemic, can only be used to purchase products that are nutritionally balanced with fewer than 990 kilocalories, 1,067 milligrams of sodium and more than 11.7 grams of protein.
