Actor Park So-dam [ILGAN SPORTS]
Actor Park So-dam, one of the stars of the 2019 Oscar-winning film “Parasite,” is recovering from an operation after being diagnosed with a type of thyroid cancer, according to her agency Artist Company on Monday.
Park was diagnosed with the disease during a routine health check-up.
“She will stay home and focus on her recovery so that she can return to good health,” said the agency, adding that it will do its best to help her through her recovery.
Her new movie “Special Cargo” is set for release on Jan. 5. The agency said Park is very disappointed she will be unable to meet fans who have been waiting to see her during the promotional events for the movie.
