Asiana Airlines got a 5-star rating from consulting firm Skytrax for the 16th year in a row.

Skytrax is a London-based airline consulting firm established in 1989. Since 1999, it has done yearly World Airline and Airport Star Rating programs, that rate carriers and airports based on quality of services, flights, amenities and cleanliness.

Asiana Airlines was awarded the highest rating, 5-stars, in the company's Covid-19 Airline Safety Ratings. Other 5-star airlines include Singapore and Cathay Pacific, whereas Tunisair and Viva Aerobus received two stars. The company doesn't disclose airlines and airports that received only one star.

Asiana’s Covid-19 prevention program, Asiana Care+, gives passengers travel regulation guidance and kits with masks and hand sanitizers.

It also received high scores for expanding use of kiosks for checking in to flights, avoiding contact between passengers and staff during the pandemic, frequent temperature checks and strict hygiene.
