Korea defeated Great Britain 9-7 in Team Kim's second game of the round robin tournament at the 2022 Beijing Olympics on Friday, tying for third place on the standings with seven games still to play.

After a scoreless first end at the National Aquatics Centre in Beijing, Great Britain struck first in the second to take a 1-0 lead. Korea took the lead in the third end and increased it in the fourth, but Great Britain quickly caught up.

Great Britain briefly took the lead again in the eighth, before a huge nine-point ninth end put Korea well out in front. Team GB added one in the tenth, but the damage was done and Korea took the game 9-7.

Korea now have one win and one loss in the early stages of the round robin tournament, having earlier lost to Canada on Thursday.

In the women's curling tournament, each team plays a total of nine games in the round robin tournament, with the top four teams advancing to the semifinals. Games are played daily, although the draw may leave some teams with multiple games on one day and none on another.

Team Kim return to the ice at 10:05 a.m. on Saturday when they take on the team representing the Russian Olympic Committee.
