After shifting to a smart factory, the units produced per hour increased while energy consumption has been reduced by more than 60 percent. Production efficiency also improved dramatically as the error rate reached the global smart factory level of seven parts per million.
Accordingly, LS Electric’s Cheongju Smart Factory was recognized by the World Economic Forum last year.

LS-Nikko Copper is in the process of developing the Onsan Digital Smelter, a smart factory system that automatically connects the entire production process of the Onsan smelter.
