Netflix's 'Yaksha' premieres April 8

Netflix’s upcoming spy action movie “Yaksha: Ruthless Operations” will premiere on April 8.

The streaming platform released a poster for the film on Friday.

“Yaksha: Ruthless Operations,” directed by Na Hyun, stars actors Sul Kyung-gu, Park Hae-soo and Yang Dong-keun.

According to Netflix, the film is about an “upstanding” prosecutor who “steps into a deadly war between spies.” Kang-in, played by Sul, is a cold-hearted leader of an espionage agency who meets a prosecutor on a special mission, played by Park, in Shenyang, China.

The prosecutor gets embroiled in “a deadly war between spies,” according to Netflix.

Sul is known for roles in films like “Oasis” (2002), “Voice of a Murderer” (2007), “The Merciless” (2017) and “1987: When the Day Comes” (2017). He recently starred in the political drama “Kingmaker” (2022).

Park played Sang-woo in the Netflix hit series “Squid Game” (2021).
