Heroes look to shake things up at bat

There’s one thing that’s going to make or break the Kiwoom Heroes this season: Yasiel Puig.

The Heroes pulled off quite a coup by signing the former MLB All-Star, who could well turn out to be the best player ever signed to a KBO team. But Puig was only available because of discipline issues and his behavior on the field, and whether that will cause any issues in this small league remains to be seen.

One man can’t win a baseball game, however, and the rest of the Heroes lineup remains largely unchanged. Ace Eric Jokisch returns for a fourth season, with NPB alumnus Tyler Eppler joining him in the rotation.

The Heroes have lost former major leaguer Park Byung-ho to the Wiz, but the rest of the club’s lineup remains largely unchanged.
